Innovative Dance always strives for excellence while still allowing kids to be kids.
We provide an exciting and fun learning environment for ages 3 through adult. The professionally trained staff is dedicated to teaching and providing each student with the best possible instruction in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical jazz and acrobatics. There are classes for the beginner and the student interested in competitive dance. New classes begin every summer and fall.
Classroom Rules:
- Do not talk or dance while the teacher is talking.
- Do not sit down or leave the room without permission
- Follow the dress code, be on time and be prepared for class
- Be kind to teachers and fellow dancers.
- Have fun!
General Information:
Classes run month-to-month basis. There is no pay per class rate. Dancers may quit at any time. Please inform the studio if you plan to not continue. Tuition is charged automatically on the 1st of every month. Students choosing not to participate in the ETPP will be charged a $5 monthly service charge. We need two weeks notice to stop ETPP. Tuition not paid by the 5th of the month will receive a $10 late fee.
Returned checks will be charged $25. Tuition, registration fees and costume fees will not be pro-rated or refunded. Alternate or make-up classes are available.
A Spring Recital is held every year in June. The dates are posted sometime in the fall. Picture day is held on a Saturday in June at the studio. Costumes cost approximately $50-$75 for each class. A $25 deposit is due by December 15th. All balances are due by March 1st.
Class schedules are subject to change. Any class with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled after the first two weeks. We often add classes and move students to different levels throughout the fall. We want to make sure everyone is in the best class for them. Please leave a message at the studio if you are going to be absent.
Policies:
- Please pick up your dancer on time. We are only responsible for your child while they are in class. Dancers are expected to be ready for class with their dance shoes on before it is time to start.
- The studio is a business. Please do not allow your children to horseplay in the building. Empty dance rooms are not playrooms.
- There is no class observation except on specified observation days.
- All students should get drinks and use the restroom before class. It is a distraction to have people going in and out. Water bottles may be kept in dance bags.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please keep your belongings in your dance bag.
- If your child is ill or has a fever, do not bring them to dance.
- DO NOT get out of your car unless you are in a parking spot. The drive through is for dropping off and picking up only. Do not ever block other cars even if you are only going to be a minute.
